Sacred Foundation
Sri Vijaya Durga Peetam is a sacred spiritual center established in Vedurupaka village of Rayavaram mandal, East Godavari District. Our beloved Sri Vijaya Durga Ammavaru was installed by Sri Vadrevu Venkata Subrahmanyam on the auspicious occasion of Varalakshmi Vratham (18-08-1972) at 12:42pm.
The pedestal was established with sacred figures of Sri Chakra, Astabhujavyagravahini, Dakshinavrutha shanka, Eswarabanam, and Ganapathi, all crafted from Panchaloha in 1972.
The Ganuga tree trunk at our pedestal is naturally shaped like Lakshmi Ganapati, revealing the divine sanctity of this blessed place to all who visit. Devotees are provided with free dining facilities on a regular basis as service to humanity.
